Article I Organization Name

The Name of the Organization shall be the Lake Spivey Men's Golf Association (LSMGA).

Article II Organizational Goal

The goal of this Association is the promotion of good fellowship and sportsmanship among its members and to encourage the active participation of its members while playing golf and taking part in golf tournaments conducted in accordance with the rules of the USGA, except as modified by local rules of the courses.

Article III Membership Eligibility

Any male member of Lake Spivey Golf Club, with amateur status, shall be eligible for membership in the LSMGA; provided that such member is in good standing, maintains a USGA handicap at Lake Spivey Golf Club, is entitled to golf privileges and is 18 years of age.

Article IV Membership Dues

The annual dues of the MGA shall be $10.00. Any increase in dues will require a change to the bylaws.

Article V Officers and Duties

The officers of the LSMGA shall be a President and three at large officers. The term of the President will be two years while all other terms will be one year.

The President shall preside at all meetings of the MGA, and have general Supervision of the MGA. All other officers shall perform such duties as may be imposed upon them by the President.

Article VI Election of Officers

Directors shall be elected at the Annual Meeting of the MGA by a plurality of the votes of the members present. If an office becomes vacant during the term of office, for any reason, the elected officers may appoint a regular member to fill the office for the remaining portion of the term.

Article VII Amendment of Bylaws

These bylaws may be amended by a majority vote of the members present at any regular or special meeting of the MGA.
